Those in this volume, are just some of the adverbial locutions we use every day without much consciousness. They are part of our everyday life and are deeply rooted in all cultures. But where do they come from? how have they survived time, fashions, generations?
the answer, must lie in their unusual usefulness: probably, we need them more than we think. With this project, one wants to do justice to the extremely visual aspect of this thousand-year-old oral tradition, never before represented in this way.
The attempt, is to interpret its mystical nature, with poetic license and distancing oneself from a purely illustrative approach, making not only drawings in their own right, but also a metapedagocical tool for reflecting on our linguistic identity.
The project was developed with the invaluable contribution of Alice Schirosa, who wrote the accompanying poems specifically for each drawing, and Benedetta Greca, whose conclusions lend themselves as analysis, guidance and insight into the themes, method and concepts.

Exhibited during the return exhibition of the 4th cycle of Paratissima Factory, which took place on May 17-21, 2023 at the Cavallerizza Reale, Former Military Academy in the historical center of Turin.
